Masjid Al-Hoda, the Muslim Community Center of Kingston, began as a small congregation of Muslims from South County and Newport County who would gather on the Kingston campus of the University of Rhode Island in 1999. By the grace of Allah ﷻ, we have grown is size and participation. We hold the five daily prayers, weekly Jumu'ah prayers, monthly halaqas, celebrate Ramadan, Eid, and other notable days, partake in recreation and gatherings together, educate our young ones, and perform outreach.

Our goal is to serve the Southern Rhode Island Muslim community, engage with our neighbors, and increase understanding of Islam.
